Purity

Hey Everyone,

I would like to tell you about the promise of purity!!!! 😀

What this says and symbolizes is that I am choosing to be pure in my thoughts and actions. As a young teenager/tweenager growing up in a world full of girls who choose not to be pure and wait for the man God has destined for them, it can be hard not to be pure when it seems so much better to not be. It may look like those other girls are better off than you are, not be pure and not being strict to the “purity” standards.

But as the button says, “The waiting is worth it.” It is! By being pure, you are not only respecting God’s wishes and destiny for you, but you are also respecting and honoring your future husband that God has planned for you to meet and marry someday. God wants us to be pure and wait for the person He chooses. And it is so worth it! You will be so glad someday that you were pure when you were younger, and you will respect that choice you made as a young teenager/tweenager. That choice will affect your whole life! And even if you are still young, it’s not too early to make a choice that you will be pure and honorable.

So I am choosing to stay pure, and have already chosen to stay pure, and I want you to join me in striving to be pure in your thoughts and actions.

The waiting is worth it.

Now I would like to share with you some scriptures on purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. (NLT)

Psalm 86:11

Teach me Your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to Your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor You. (NLT)

2 Corinthians 7:1

Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body and spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. (NLT)

Some people think that not having sex outside of marriage is the only way to stay pure. But it’s not.

Mark 7:20-23

20) And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. 21) For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22) adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23) All these vile things come from within, they are what defile you. (NLT)

Purity also means purity of the heart. Some of you may ask how do I keep a pure heart? This is what the Bible says about that.

Psalm 119:9

How can a young person stay pure? By obeying Your Word. (NLT)

John 17:17

Make them holy by Your truth; teach them Your Word, which is truth. (NLT)

You can pray this prayer to ask God to help you keep a pure heart and body.

Dear God, I pray that You help me keep a pure heart and body. Please help me if I go to put anything in my heart that does not belong to You or that is of You. I Pray this in Jesus, Amen

Now don’t let anything that anyone says, does, or thinks stop you from following God!!!!

♥GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND KEEP YOU ALL SAFE♥

Waiting until you’re married is the right thing to do and it will definitely be worth the wait.
