“How busy are you??”
You know last week we talked about when we get busier then we will spend time with JESUS. But how about right now?? How busy are you?? Are you too busy to spend time with HIM?? Are you going through your day with out spending at least 10-15 minutes with JESUS? What does your day look like?? You know I told something years ago and it has stick with me. I would like to share that with you right now.
- You walk up one day and go to the kitchen to get your coffee. JESUS is sitting at your table wanted to talk to you. But instead you tell HIM that you don’t have time right now. But maybe later but right now I’m late for work. So you go on with your day and don’t think anything about it. You come home from work and HE is still sitting there waiting on you. Instead you make dinner and tell HIM late LORD. Then as time goes on and the more you do things it is time for bed. Then you tell HIM that you will talk to HIM tomorrow. You tell HIM that everyday. It doesn’t change. Never have time.
WOW! Now if JESUS was sitting at my table I would forget everything in my day and I would talk to HIM! But hey, HE is always there. You can’t see HIM be HE is there. HE is always ready to listen, to talk to you, to help you, to be with you and sooooooooooo much more. But are you going to talk to HIM??
“How busy are you??”
Are you to busy to take time with HIM?? If you answered yes, then we need a change.
I can be to busy but at the same time I have down time and free time. So that means that I can spend time with HIM. I can get my Bible out and read it. I can get on my knees and pray. I can worship HIM. I can set a time to be with HIM. HE wants to be with us. The question is, “Do you want to be with HIM?”
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28
And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. – 1 John 2:17
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; – Psalm 37:7a
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. – Matthew 6:33-34
