Okay, so I learned something last week and I would like to share it with you!!!
I was listening to Kenneth Copeland last week and he said something that got me thinking!!! Okay he said that if you cuss at yourself or at cuss someone out. You opening the gates of hell and letting satan and his demon power to come over you or the other person. You are giving satan permission to bring you or the other person down!!!! Well I was thinking about that and I thought that if we cuss and open the gates of hell. Well then when we bless ourselves and others then we are opening the gates of Heaven. We are letting GOD do HIS work in our lives and others. So I started looking up Bible verses on words and here is what stood out to me!!
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (NKJV)
Romans 10:8
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): (NKJV)
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. (NKJV)
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. (NKJV)
Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. (NKJV)
Our words are very powerful.
