Garbage In, Garbage Out

Hey Everyone,

Today I would like to talk to you about what you put in you will come out of you. Lets listen to this song.

Garbage In, Garbage Out By: Tal and Acacia

The chorus of the song says:

Garbage in, garbage out
What goes in is found out
All can see what goes in me
I pay the price

Now lets look at a few Bible verses that go with this song.

Luke 6:45

45) A good person produces good things from the treasury of his heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. (NLT)

Matthew 15:11

11) It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. (NLT)

Matthew 15:18-20

18) But the words you speak come from the heart-that’s what defiles you. 19) For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander. 20) These are what defiles you. Eating with unwashed hands will never defile you. (NLT)

So do you see how important it is to be careful what we put into our hearts? Our words are powerful. What we watch on TV, and listen to in music will affect us. Now I would like to tell you a story about me.

Back in August or September of 2009 I started watching TV shows, and listen to music that I knew GOD would NOT approve of. Everything that was in the TV shows went against the Bible. This when on for about 9 or 10 months. I even taped some of the shows. When they cussed or said GOD’S name in vain, I just tape over that so I wouldn’t have to hear it the next time I watched the show. I told myself “I’m a strong Christian and none of this will affect me. I wont say those things, think those things or do that.” I WAS SO WRONG!!!! Slowly but gradually I did change. The things that I would never say was okay to wear, I said that would be cool. I stated dancing a little different, the way the world dances. When I was at Church I almost said a word that was very bad. I mean half of the word came out. I felt so bad. I knew then that I had to STOP watching those shows and listing to those songs!!!! I asked for help and alot of prayer. That LORD told me to get rid of every episode that I taped. So I did and I felt beater. The LORD delivered me of the desire to watch any of those show or listing to that kind of music. So now I put the WORD of GOD into my heart!!!!

What we do now will affect our future. Lets listen to this song.

Future By: Mission Six

We need  to be careful with what we put into our hearts because it will show. We need to stand out and not fit in.

So what will it be for you?
Garbage in and garbage out or GOD’S WORD in and GOD’S WORD out?

I was like that about a year I would WANT to listen to non-Christian music and watch non-Christian shows, but the closer I grew to the LORD the more He took away those desires!! 😀 God is the TRUE DELIVERER!! Thanks for taking the time to share this 🙂 sorry I didn’t get a chance to read it before now. 😦 Love ya!!

  3. […] One day a few years back I was thinking and talking out loud to myself (reminding myself of the story) about what Abraham did. While I was talking and thinking the LORD gave me a revelation. He told me that, “As a CHRISTIAN you have to give thinks up in order to obey Me and follow Me!” Now when He gave me this revelation I was going through the time in my life that I was watching TV shows He would NOT approve of. (To see the full story so my post about “Garbage In, Garbage Out.” […]

The first edit was not good so here you go. Sorry about that. #disneyfriendshipcollab David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
- 1 Samuel 30:6 AMPC

This verse as meet a lot to me in the past year!!!! I love the last part where it says that "David encouraged and strengthened himself on the Lord his God!!!!!!!!" For many reasons this has stayed with me.

1) David knew that he needed the Lord. No matter what came his way he looked to God!!!! He went to Him and praise Him!!! He worshiped Him!!!! He got alone with Him!!!!!! David had the right idea!!!!! No matter what we are going through we need to look to God!!!!! He has all the answers. I mean come on, if Hr could send Him One and only Son to die for us. Do you not think He has all the answers we need? Yes He does. The question now is, are we going to look to Him or others for the answer?
2) So David also strengthened himself in the Lord!!!! Again with the waiting and spending time with God!!!!! We need to do that as well.
3) This one has hit me hard over the past few months. Did you see that David encouraged himself in the Lord? It didn't say that his friends encouraged him. It didn't say that his family encouraged him. It didn't say, and the list could go on. But he encouraged himself in the Lord.

Sometimes when we are in a fight it can be hard. Believe me I know. But you have to remember that not all the time is there going to be someone there to help you. You have to know how to encourage yourself. Yes it may be hard and hurts at times but we have to do it. How do you encourage yourself you may ask? Here are a few ways: · Worship the Lord in music · Read the Word of God to yourself
· Pray ( not about the problem but about the victory you already have)
· Tell yourself what the Word of God says

Those are a few ways.

So if you are in that fight right now, just start worshiping God! If your not there still worship Him. Get yourself in the mood to start that at anytime!!!! #Devo #scripture #bible #bibleverse #bibleverses #cool #yesLord Happy Independence Day Everyone!!!!!!! I pray you all have a blessed day!!!!! We need to remember the ones that are serving to keep the USA free!!! Also we need to remember that we have freedom through Jesus as well!!!!! We are free!!!!!! So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.
- John 8:36 AMPC

#July4th #Independanceday #HappyIndependanceday #Happy4thofjuly Suicide:

What makes a person think of suicide?? Loneliness, heartbreak, heartache, rejection, abuse(physical, mental, emotional, verbal, psychologically), bulling, not worth it, ext!

Did you know that there is on average a 121 suicides a day? About 13.26 per 100,000 people.

That is sad!!!!! How many of them are Christians? How many of them are school kids? How many of them are ones that are "not wanted"? How many???? The list could go on!!!!!! Stop and think about it. The person you are sitting next to could be thinking about it. At work, school, walking down the street or even church. Yes church! Do you know that Christian have the same thoughts as well?
Is if fun to think these thoughts? NO!!!! Is it your fault? NO!!!!!!!! Is there hope? YES!!!!!! Is there something wrong with you? NO!!!!!!!!! Can't you get free and out of it? YES!!!!!!! There is hope for you. You can be set free!!!!! That is what Jesus did for you!!!!! But do you know what? People don't talk about this. People don't look for help cause they think that it shameful. The shouldn't think this way or try to do it. People look down on people that think this way. It is hard.

But what would happen if we as the body of Christ would listen up. What would happen if we payed attention? What would happen if you got so close to God that He would let us know that someone was thinking about it? What would happen?

There is hope for them just like there is hope for us. I want to be able to help them. I want to see them smile again. I want to see them laugh again. But you know what? Do you know who wants that more then anything? God!!!!!!! He wants that. It makes Him sad to see people kill themselves.
So as a believer: I want to make a stand and help them. There is hope, help, peace, comfort, but more important! Love for them. Let us show them love and let them see Jesus in us.
That is my prayer!!!!!! #thinking #journaling #lifepost #Jesus #God #love #peace #joy #comfort #reallife #realtalk When life gets hard, pray harder!
When life gets crazy, read the Word more.

Life is not the best but not the worst. It all depends on your point of view.
We need to be reading the Word and praying everyday. But sometimes we have things that come up and it can be hard. But that is when we trust Him and let Him lead us.
Don't get upset, frustrated, angery, bitter, ext. Just give it to God and obey.

Okay so I'm learning this right now. My life is not perfect but I'm learning. The more I read the Word the more I realize how much I don't know. But it is best to listen and obey. I have disobeyed but we learn from it. What satan wants for a deaator God can turn for glory. It may hurt but do. Just obey, it may seem hard but in the long run it will work out.
I love all of you!!!! DM is always open. If you need prayer, talk, ext. I'm here for you!!! God bless
